Free App Store Targets Kids With Autism

Autism Apps lists a ton of the best apps available for kids with autism.  This free app supplies key information about each autism app, including the description and price, and also includes something so awesome that my brain nearly exploded!

Autism Apps links to reviews from Squidalicious, Autism Epicenter, and, yours truly, Autism Plugged In.  So, not only can you get the iTunes ratings, you also get an honest, hands-on review written someone who buys and test drives these apps.

Autism Apps by Touch Autism: Settings and Lists

Under the settings area, the user can sort the apps in terms of platform, rating, or price.  For example, you can choose to only look at the least expensive apps, or the most expensive apps, or apps specifically for the iPad.  This feature helps you find the apps that best suit your needs.  You can also choose to look at the newest apps or some apps that have been chosen by  as featured selections, or even sort them alphabetically!

I think you are terrific! I have a 20 year old son with severe autism and have been looking for app’s on the web which are easy to access. Your site is easy to use and compiled beautifully. Wonderful to know that someone of your generation has the compassion and desire to help. Thank you!!!

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

My name is Jack Kieffer and I'm a blogger sharing my love of technology at blogs like Cool Gizmo Toys, Greenamajigger, and here at Autism Plugged In where I'm trying to make a difference in the lives of children with autism.

Several years ago, I began volunteering with special needs kids, who gave me much joy and an appreciation for life. This blog is my way of giving back. Any proceeds from this effort are used to support my friends with autism. Read more about Jack or connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
