Autism Plugged In Fundraising Efforts: The Results Are In!

A Successful Phoneraiser Fundraiser for Autism Research

Organization for Autism Research OAR

So, as many of you probably know, Autism Plugged In recently held a fundraising effort through Phoneraiser (a firm dedicated to helping the environment by recycling or reusing old cell phones and ink cartridges) to collect money benefiting the Organization for Autism Research (OAR).  Autism Plugged In wholeheartedly supports OAR’s mission “to apply research to the challenges of autism.”

During the months of November and December, Autism Plugged In collected old cell phones and used ink cartridges from local schools, businesses, family, and friends.  In the end, we were able to raise $1,240 to donate!

Thank you so much for your support, and we hope to pursue more fundraising endeavors in the future.

If you missed out on the Phoneraiser fundraiser, but would still like to donate to OAR, just use the button you see on the sidebar!

Thanks again,

Jack Kieffer – Founder, Autism Plugged In

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

My name is Jack Kieffer and I'm a blogger sharing my love of technology at blogs like Cool Gizmo Toys, Greenamajigger, and here at Autism Plugged In where I'm trying to make a difference in the lives of children with autism.

Several years ago, I began volunteering with special needs kids, who gave me much joy and an appreciation for life. This blog is my way of giving back. Any proceeds from this effort are used to support my friends with autism. Read more about Jack or connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
