Autism Plugged In’s Fundraising Efforts Update

Hello, loyal readers of Autism Plugged In!  I thought I would just take a minute to update you all on the fundraising efforts of API.

Autism Plugged In recently donated another $280.37 to OAR (the Organization for Autism Research), a charitable organization that focuses on doing research to improve the everyday lives of children with autism.  To read more about OAR why we support them, visit this post I wrote a while back.

In case you weren’t aware, all of the ad revenue, affiliate profits, and spare change that we find lying around goes to benefit autism research.   This latest amount raises API’s total donations to a whopping $1,943.37!  Yay!

We hope you will continue to read Autism Plugged In, and keep in mind that we receive commissions for apps bought through the iTunes links you see on every API post . . . so, if you can, try to buy your apps through these links!  (API donates 100% of the profits.)

Help us reach our goal of $3,000 by the end of 2012!

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

My name is Jack Kieffer and I'm a blogger sharing my love of technology at blogs like Cool Gizmo Toys, Greenamajigger, and here at Autism Plugged In where I'm trying to make a difference in the lives of children with autism.

Several years ago, I began volunteering with special needs kids, who gave me much joy and an appreciation for life. This blog is my way of giving back. Any proceeds from this effort are used to support my friends with autism. Read more about Jack or connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
