Timer for YouTube Is Great For Kids With Autism

I’ve received many an email about YouTube from distressed moms.

The iPad is great, but all he wants to do is watch videos on YouTube!  Help!”

Thankfully, the wonderful Touch Autism development group has come to save the day!

Set Limits for Time Spent Watching YouTube Videos

With this YouTube Timer App, dubbed “Timer for YouTube.com” by the company, you can give your child the glories of YouTube without giving him to the time monster that YouTube can become.  (Countless hours have been wasted even by Jack Kieffer (me) founder of API, on YouTube.  Sloth videos are incredibly addictive.)

I figured that it would be most appropriate to create a video review for a YouTube Timer app, so here you go!

I hope you enjoy the review, and I think that this app will be a blessing to many parents out there!

NOTE: Visit this link to learn about setting up Safe Search to limit what kids can find on the site.

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

My name is Jack Kieffer and I'm a blogger sharing my love of technology at blogs like Cool Gizmo Toys, Greenamajigger, and here at Autism Plugged In where I'm trying to make a difference in the lives of children with autism.

Several years ago, I began volunteering with special needs kids, who gave me much joy and an appreciation for life. This blog is my way of giving back. Any proceeds from this effort are used to support my friends with autism. Read more about Jack or connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
