Get Organized for High School or College

iHomework is a simple student planner app that tracks assignments, reminders, classes, reading/book information, schedules, and more. As a current college student, I was interested in going through the app and was glad to see that it is very easy to use.

Getting Started with iHomework

iHomework’s first category is, naturally, homework. A student can add in assignments by day, week, or by course. He or she can also set reminders and deadlines on the color-coded calendar.

Students can add group projects, including group partners and their contact information.  This will make it easy to email friends assignments if they miss class.

Student Planner Include Reminders

iHomework’s second category is setting reminders for due dates, which is pretty helpful (just pay attention to the reminders so you don’t forget until the last minute!).

Access to Questia.com

iHomework lets you access a huge library of information right inside the app.  This is great for homework or research assignments.

Teachers and Courses

iHomework’s third and fourth categories are courses and teachers. Courses are added by dates, times, locations . . . all the basics.

Teachers are added with first and last names and even include phone and email options. There are also reading, completed homework, and calendar options in the “more” section.

Easy-to-Use App for Students With Special Needs

iHomework might feel somewhat like just another generic app for students. But, it’s one of the easiest apps for those with special needs to utilize because of its visual features.

Another plus for us is a reminder volumes option (a good thing for sensory issues).

This student planner app would be worth a mention to both students with special needs and those without.

Here’s another great app review written by Mahina, a 20-year-old college student with autism who enjoys reading, food, and music. She is also a huge technology geek who blogs at from aloha to arizona.  Thanks Mahina!
