Bass For Autism Vol. 2: Supporting Autism Research Through The Power of Music

BFA Bass for Autism vol. 2

On August 15, 2014, Bass for Autism Vol. 2 was released with a bang!  This project is a 49-track music compilation featuring some of the biggest names in electronic music.

Savant:  Artist With Autism Leads the Way

Electronic music guru, Savant, who has been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, generously contributed a new, original track called “Synesthesia” and hopes it will “help support autism research to help everyone understand it better.”

Other artists including DotEXE, Xilent, and Rameses B have contributed previously-unreleased songs to support the Organization for Autism Research (OAR), a national non-profit organization formed and led by relatives of children and adults with autism and Asperger Syndrome.

“OAR strives to make a difference in individual lives by funding research, providing timely and relevant autism information to those who need it, and creating opportunities for the autism community to collaborate and make advances together.”

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

My name is Jack Kieffer and I'm a blogger sharing my love of technology at blogs like Cool Gizmo Toys, Greenamajigger, and here at Autism Plugged In where I'm trying to make a difference in the lives of children with autism.

Several years ago, I began volunteering with special needs kids, who gave me much joy and an appreciation for life. This blog is my way of giving back. Any proceeds from this effort are used to support my friends with autism. Read more about Jack or connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
