Are You A Special Needs App Developer?

Hi App Developers,

Autism Plugged In, one of the top sites for reviewing apps for children with autism, would love to review your app!  If you feel that your app could positively enhance the lives of our readers, those affected by autism and other special needs, keep reading!

(Did I mention that all API profits are donated to autism research?  Bonus!)

Services We Offer

App Reviews ($25 + two promo codes):  This is the big cheese!  We give great exposure to special needs apps, as our flow of visitors is strong and very targeted.

In addition, your app will be featured in our weekly Newsletter (our email list of 900+ subscribers has incredibly high click-through-rates)!

API will also promote the app review on our social media channels, which have over 1,800 followers:  Facebook,  Twitter, and Pinterest.

PLUS, we will add a Rafflecopter giveaway to the review, at your request.

**NEW! For an additional $10, API will do a video review of your app and include it in the app review article.  API will also upload the video to its YouTube Video Channel:

Giveaway Hosting Via Rafflecopter – On A Dedicated Page ($10 for a limited time only!):  API will host a giveaway of your app on a dedicated page containing a Rafflecopter widget (we will include your entry requirements – Like on Facebook, Follow on Twitter, etc.) for $10.

We will also include a short description of your app (provided by you) and an iTunes BUY button.

Autism Plugged In will promote the giveaway through our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest).  Paid giveaways will run for one week.  Contact Jack to if you are interested in this opportunity.

Payment:  We invoice all fees via PayPal.

Keep in mind that all profits are donated to autism research, including our favorite 501(c)3 charity — Organization for Autism Research (OAR)!

High Click-Through-Rates

Autism Plugged In has Click-Through-Rates (CTR) much higher than many other app review blogs, but that’s because my readers really care about those affected by autism and, as a result, are a very targeted audience.

Subscriber Base

Autism Plugged In’s email subscriber base has grown substantially, and now has +950 readers, all of which filled out an opt-in form on the site, giving their email address in return for updates and the latest on autism apps.

Weekly Email Newsletter

Each broadcast that I send out to my readers (I do this about once each week) lands in their inbox, and my emails have an average open rate of 83% over the last 6 months.  (The lowest I have ever had is 50%, the highest over 136% – readers keep our newsletters and use them as an app buying resource!).  The broadcasts also have an average click through rate of about 17%.

API’s Got the Stats

The average open rate for all MailChimp users (the biggest newsletter service on the internet) is only around 20%, much lower than that of API, and the average click through rate is only 2-3% of recipients!  That means that our open rate is FOUR (4) times higher the average, and that our click through rate is FIVE (5) times higher!  (You may check the links below to make sure that I am not just making up numbers.)

We’ll Promote Your App Review on Social Media

What I’m offering is a review of your app published on Autism Plugged In, promotion via our Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest channels (with over 1,700 total followers), AND to have your app’s review featured in an email via my newsletter.

Profits Benefit Autism Research

In return for access to an extremely targeted audience, we request an app review fee of $25.

And, as you probably know, all profits from Autism Plugged In are donated to autism research, so I’m not lining my pockets :)  In fact, you can check out an article written by OAR about our continuing contribution to autism research here.

API Has Integrity!

Please know that this app review service does not guarantee a positive nor a negative app review, but an honest review.  We will pre-screen your app before agreeing to review it to make sure it meets API’s review standards.  This creates a win-win for everyone!

This offer connects you, the developer, with an engaged audience who have a specific need that you can fulfill!

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

Who’s Behind Autism Plugged In?

My name is Jack Kieffer and I'm a blogger sharing my love of technology at blogs like Cool Gizmo Toys, Greenamajigger, and here at Autism Plugged In where I'm trying to make a difference in the lives of children with autism.

Several years ago, I began volunteering with special needs kids, who gave me much joy and an appreciation for life. This blog is my way of giving back. Any proceeds from this effort are used to support my friends with autism. Read more about Jack or connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
